2+ years of experience in organic and/or pasture-based livestock operations; completion of the Dairy Grazing Apprenticeship program (Journey status) is a plus.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to develop positive working relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; enthusiastic, engaging, and comfortable working with the public.
Strong organizational abilities, including time management, planning, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Comfortable working independently with high levels of autonomy, and adaptable to the needs of a dynamic nonprofit farm.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in a range of weather conditions, and work extended daily/weekly hours during the high season
This position will also serve as Residential Advisor to communal housing at Banter House, and support the Dairy Grazing Apprenticeship program by fostering a strong team dynamic, a supportive learning environment, and a culture of professionalism.
